Help beloved family pet Kozi-Mel

Hi friends and fellow pet lovers/owners,
Ava and Jarrod are doing well in recovering from Hurricane Harvey! Their major repairs, through your generous donations and help from religious based charities and volunteers, are just about completely done! Their finances are drained and strained getting everything back to as normal as possible.
Ava's sweet, darling, blonde Pekingese - Paradises Kozi-Mel Ryan, turned 12 years old in December 2017. Many Pekingese experience some special health issues and Kozi definitely has his share. Kozi is having a medical episode emergency and needs donations from anyone who is able to help, any amount is greatly appreciated!!
Kozi was scheduled to get some major dental work done the week after Hurricane Harvey. Unfortunately, Ava had to use his teeth money to evacuate for the hurricane. Kozi has to have all soft foods to eat because of his teeth.
His Luxating Patellas, that's his knees, are in constant pain, but usually just makes his bathroom trip down the porch steps a little slow. The Vet has told Ava that he needs to be carried up and down stairs to alleviate complications due to this recent episode.
He has a dermatitis that requires a special shampoo and spray to help him cope with itching and heat.
He has chronic dry eyes that requires constant eye wash and drops. His cataracts are doing much better since Ava has been using a natural cataract reducing product!
Last Friday (5-4-18) Kozi began experiencing some breathing difficulty which required an emergency trip to the Port Aransas veterinary office, which recently reopened with some absolutely wonderful doctors and staff!
After x-rays and tests, it was discovered that Kozi has some fluid in his lungs - which should be cleared up with antibiotics. Worse information is that Kozi is experiencing the beginning of heart failure - which will require a daily dose of heart medicine for the rest of his life. The doctors have indicated that he should live several more years - as long as he can continue with his medication. Unfortunately, the repairs needed from the hurricane damage - those things not covered by gracious donations and volunteers, has taken a toll on their finances.
Ava tries to get as many medications as possible online, which are usually a little cheaper.
We are asking for any donations you are able to give towards getting Kozi his medicines and to help pay the Vet bill. No donation is too small! Kozi needs your help (as much as helping Ava through this stressful time) and all help is very much appreciated! Thank you and God bless!
