Brayden's Medical Fund

Brayden Yarbrough, a junior at Columbia High School, is an amazing kid who has been hit with some terrible news.  Just before Christmas, Brayden had a head scan to check on some issues he had been having with his nose.  The scan showed a dermoid cyst that has branched throughout his face and brain, with the largest cyst in his frontal lobe; two others are in his nose and nasal passage.

Brayden's surgery is scheduled for January 25, 2018 at Wolfson Children's Hospital in Jacksonville, FL.  It will take two surgeons, a neurosurgeon and an ENT, to perform the 8-10 hour procedure.  He will then have to stay in the hospital an additional week to two weeks, depending on his post-op recovery.  Once home, it will take about another full month to complete his recovery.

Brayden's father will be with him the entire time he is in the hospital, but does not receive sick/vacation days at his place of work.  Because of this, money will be extremely tight for this family of six and bills may have to be left unpaid. Other expenses will include the cost of gas for their 100+ mile commute (multiple times for pre and post operation), as well as food for the family throughout the hospital stay.

Brayden has an amazing and supportive family, but there is only so much they can do, financially, to help.  Any donations will be incredibly appreciated.  If you are unable to give financially, we completely understand; a simple "share" will help in a huge way.  Please pray for this family as they endure this entire process.

Thank you so much for your thoughts, prayers, and donations.
