Justin Bell Foundation

My brother Justin who is about to turn 24 this month was just recently diagnosed with a rare aggressive cancer called Teratoma Mediastinal mixed germ cell and is very uncommon. After battling back and forth with doctors for 4 and a half months to prove to them something was really wrong, he at first was told that an xray showed he has pleurisy and had fluid around his lungs, so they treated him with antibotics, and from there he just got worse. He returned to the doctor in more pain and trouble breathing and they did another xray and the "pleurisy" was still there, and they also said he had phenomena. So more time went by with him taking more antibotics and now steriods to make him better, and within a week he lost 10 pounds. He returned to the doctor for his checkup and the doctor finally noticed that nothing was helping and he could tell he was getting sick and Justin was having more and more trouble breathing, so Justin demanded a cat scan. And what showed up shocked everyone, my brother has a 13X15CM tumor that collapsed his right lung and shifted his heart. He was surviving, working, running around with only 1 working lung this whole time. The cancer is very rapid and aggressive so their staring chemotherapy and trying it for 9 weeks and surgery is needed after, but that means he wont be able to work, make an income and pay for all his bills, now including future medical bills. Also, he lives in Syracuse, NY because of work and school so traveling expenses and hotels for us are very hard, having to go up there every week from CT and taking time off from work, but believe me its all worth it just to see my brother. So, we ask if anyone would like to make a donation for Justin, my family and especially him will appreciate it more than you'll ever know. We will be creating silicone bracelets for Justin and selling those as well. Everyone knows my brother as an amazing, strong, young, caring man, who would do anything for anyone, even if you don't donate if you could just say a prayer for him, thank you all so much, this means the world to us all, Justin is strong and we are gonna stay positive and beat this cancers butt!!!!
