A young girl at the age of 17 met and later married a handsome, man named George who truly is a jack of all trades. Together they built a house, raised a family, created memories, and loved each other unconditionally. They have faithfully been together 57 years! On their wedding day they vowed to be together through sickness and in health. While they had many beautiful days together George is now battling cancer for the third time in the last 20 years. We have been informed by the family that the chemo is no longer effective, the cancer is too aggressive; however, by bringing George home where his loving wife, Janet, can care for him we hope to lift his spirits and not give up on George! This is his only wish... to be in his home with his wife. ...There isn't a day in George's healthy life where he wasn't lending a helping hand. No matter who met him... he was the go-to-man for any tool, skill, or practical idea. George now needs a helping hand. Can we help this couple of 57 years spend their days in the comfort of their home?
The goal of this is to raise the money needed for the hospice care and medications to allow George to rest comfortably in the comfort of the home he built with his own hands. $230 a day is what it will take to bring George home.
