Family and Friends: We thank you all so much for your love and support.
Last night we had the pleasure of hearing Jeremy's dear bandmates and friends do an interview on the radio to talk about the new album, the show, and Jeremy. It was wonderful to hear the passion all of these guys have.
Mom was sitting beside Jeremy listening to the interview with him. He was resting very peacefully as they listened to the guys talk and then to a track from the album. Shortly after the song "Bellflower" was played on the radio, Jeremy calmly passed. Our dear mother was with him along the way, cradling him and making sure he knew how much he is loved.
He was so proud of his music and how special that he was able to hear it on the radio with our sweet mama who loves him more than anything.
It truly was up to Jeremy and God and while we are so sad to lose him, God needs him for something more important. We will be seeing him again one day.

At this time, we do not have any information regarding services, but will let you know the information when we have it. We are hoping that the show on Saturday will serve has a pleasant reminder of Jeremy's life.

My big brother Jeremy was in a serious car accident on Wednesday night (6/4) and is currently in a coma. He has been diagnosed with Diffuse Axonal Injury. In addition to DAI, he has some cracked ribs, a fractured sternum, spleen laceration, and extensive swelling/cuts/bruises. He is not responding to stimuli and it is a very scary situation, but it is still early...

If you've never met Jeremy, you're missing out. He is an incredibly talented person in so many ways. He is also one of the most passionate people I know. Music is his life. He is a musician with a wide range. He does beautiful things with a jazz guitar and can turn around and shake your soul with the droney sounds of his band Bi_PolarBear. He can make someone laugh in an instant and cry from the inability to stop laughing. When we were younger, he could make me do ANYTHING by saying "betcha can't do it in 10 seconds. Well Jeremy here's your challenge: "betcha can't recover in 10 seconds."
He's a light in our bunch to say the least.
"DAI is one of the most common and devastating types of traumatic brain injury. DAI, which refers to extensive lesions in white matter tracts, is one of the major causes of unconsciousness and persistent vegetative state after head trauma. It occurs in about half of all cases of severe head trauma. The outcome is frequently coma, with over 90% of patients with severe DAI never regaining consciousness. Those who do wake up often remain significantly impaired."

We were unaware of his accident for 2 days. He was admitted to the hospital as "unknown" and has been undergoing tests and monitoring. As soon as we found out where he was, we came together as quickly as possible. Our mother caught the first plane from El Paso and the rest of us drove down as quickly as possible to be with him.

While there is not a limit to what we, as a family, will do to take care of each other, unfortunately there is a limit to the finances we have to make it happen.
Jeremy is currently in a situation where he does not have health insurance and his condition is promising a long road ahead. Now that we are here with him, we are taking the necessary steps to take care of his medical expenses, including applying for aid, in addition to our travel and lodging expenses to be able to be with Jeremy in this devestating time.
This is where we need to ask for help. We really have no idea what the bills are going to come to, but we are doing any and everything we can to give him the best chance. I understand that our goal amount is high, but we just need some help. Any donation is a blessing. If you can't afford to give, please help us out by sharing our story and saying a prayer.
