Missing pilot's remains recovered
This January, a Sea Dragon helicopter crashed off the Virginia Coast; two crew members were killed immediately, two hospitalized, and the pilot remained missing for eight days. The pilot was Lt. Sean C. Snyder, loving husband and father of four. His oldest son, Sean, was in my AP European History class two years ago as a sophomore; he maintained a solid B average all year and passed the National Exam. This combination is by no means an easy task, especially for 10th graders. I am taking students on a 13 day trip to Italy in June 2015. Please, please help me raise money to send this fabulous young man to Italy. The smallest donation will meet the greatest appreciation. I have never met a stronger, united, and more loving family; they are my heroes, so the picture Amy Snyder sent me is ever-so appropriate. Thank you and please spread the word.
