A young father needs brain surgery

Angelo Hernaez is my brother-in-law and he is a 27 year old father of 3 kids. He recently  graduated at BYU Hawaii as an exchange student  and was able to raise his kids with his wife while going to school and working part time. After finishing his education and training, he came back to Philippines 5 months ago with his wife and their kids. Unfortunately, last month of October he had his first seizure and he was diagnosed with ruptured arteriovenous malformation (abnormal connection between the arteries and veins in the brain) vs. Brain tumor. Fortunately, it is more likely benign but still the doctor advised to have it removed by surgery since it is growing and it will get more complicated in the long run. The family wanted to have him get a gamma knife surgery and it is also highly recommended by the neuro surgeon in his case. It costs around $14,000 and is only available in one hospital in the Philippines in Manila. He doesn’t have a health insurance because he is only working as part time self employed for now because he is still working on his license to teach in the Philippines. 

My sister would like to extend this message to their friends and relatives and even to all who may be able to help them: 
“Our greatest hope as a family is to have a good life where we can easily extend help and service to everyone who may need help. But we never expected this to happen to us. Usually, we only ask for your prayers when we’re facing challenges. Sadly, this time we humbly ask for financial support. When I first saw him on his first seizure, I cried: Dear Father in Heaven, we are just starting a family together and I can’t do it without him.  I’m hoping that people around the world may become God’s hands to help my husband live longer and create more memories with us. We will be eternally grateful for any help that will be extended.”
