<div>I never imagined I would be here again.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>After my husband passed away suddenly, I truly believed that by now I would be back on my feet — working, providing, and rebuilding stability for my children. I planned for that future. Instead, I’ve found myself caught in delays and disputes completely outside of my control, and I’ve run out of time.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Social Security survivor benefits have been delayed longer than expected. Unemployment is currently being contested by my former employer over claims that are untrue and not the reason I was let go. I am actively job searching, interviewing, and doing everything I can — but in the meantime, bills don’t pause, rent doesn’t wait, and food still has to be put on the table.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Because of technical income thresholds, I do not qualify for state assistance — yet I also haven’t received the benefits I am entitled to. I’m stuck in a gap where I make “too much” to qualify for help, but not enough to survive without the support that is currently delayed.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>What has been hardest is that the constant stress has taken over the space I need to grieve. I want to be present for my children. I want to heal. Right now, I’m just trying to breathe while keeping our lives from unraveling.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I set this fundraiser goal carefully and intentionally. The $10,000 goal represents approximately two months of essential living expenses — including rent, utilities, food, transportation, and basic necessities — while Social Security and unemployment issues are resolved and while I continue actively seeking employment. This is not a long-term solution, but a temporary bridge to stability during a moment when everything feels stalled.

<div>If you are able to donate, please know that your support helps more than I can express. If you’re unable to give, sharing this or simply holding us in your thoughts also means the world to us.
</div>

</div>
<div>Thank you for seeing me. Thank you for helping my family get through this moment.
</div>

</div>
<div>With gratitude,
