<div>Melissa is a strong 23 year old who has been battling with an autoimmune disease from the young age of 16 after being misdiagnosed years prior. She has C3 Glomerulonephritis specifically, Dense Deposit Disease (DDD) &amp; C3GN which has led to her having End Stage Renal Disease (ESRD.) Melissa is currently on the transplant list waiting for a Kidney transplant.

<div>Melissa is about to undergo a series of surgeries to have Hemo Dialysis done as unfortunately her body has rejected Pertaneal Diaysis. She is doing everything in her power to live a normal life as possible with the life span she has left. She currently works as a Dental Assistant which she loves with a passion, however it is a very physical demanding job with the disease she has. Due to her having a series of surgeries done we ask you dear family and friends for some assistance while she is out of work to cover her medical expenses and bills.

<div>Melissa es una fuerte joven de 23 años que ha estado luchando contra una enfermedad autoinmune desde los 16 años después de haber sido diagnosticada erróneamente años antes. Tiene glomerulonefritis C3 específicamente, enfermedad de depósito denso (DDD) y C3GN, lo que la ha llevado a tener enfermedad renal en etapa terminal (ESRD). Melissa se encuentra actualmente en la lista de trasplantes esperando un trasplante de riñón.

<div>Melissa está a punto de someterse a una serie de cirugías para realizarse hemodiálisis ya que lamentablemente su cuerpo ha rechazado la diálisis pertaneal. Ella está haciendo todo lo que está a su alcance para vivir una vida lo más normal posible con el tiempo de vida que le queda. Actualmente trabaja como Asistente Dental lo cual  le da mucho gusto en hacer, sin embargo es un trabajo muy exigente físicamente con la enfermedad que padece. Debido a que se sometió a una serie de cirugías, les pedimos a sus queridos familiares y amigos que nos ayuden mientras ella está sin trabajo para cubrir sus gastos y facturas médicas.
