A WALK FOR JACKIE
Please join us on Saturday 2nd October at 10.30 am, at Rossmore Forest Park, Monaghan in memory of our beautiful Jackie.
A year ago, on 5th October, we lost the most important and beautiful person. We miss you more than anything every day and would do anything to bring you back. It was a day our lives shattered to pieces, and we will never be the same. In times of grief, you have to keep going and remember to cherish your loved ones.
Pieta House has been incredible. As a family, we don’t know how we would have got through this without them. A special thank you to our liaison officer - thank you so much for your kindness and support.
In 2020, Pieta House delivered over 52,000 hours of intervention and bereavement counselling. They managed over 70,000 crisis support calls and texts through their 24 freephone helpline and supported over 600 households devastated by the loss of a loved one by suicide.
We want to give something back to Pieta House, especially for the Monaghan/Cavan area, by raising funds to help them continue providing their services and supporting people in need. We are asking for you to help us raise funds for Pieta House. Any donation is welcome, no matter how big or small.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you to all of our family, friends, colleagues who have helped us get through this year.
To anyone struggling or bereaved by suicide, remember that you are loved, you are strong, you are a fighter, it is ok not to be ok, and there is always light even in the darkest of days. Please reach out and talk to someone.
Now let’s do this and help have a world where suicide, self-harm, and stigma continue to be replaced by hope, self-care, and acceptance.
