Heaven's New Arrival Andres Valadez

Donation protected
Andres Valadez was a 19-year old teenager who loved his family, drawing, going to the park, listening to music, working on puzzles, always curious, eager to learn more about life and exploring the world.

Andres had Autism and was nonverbal.  It was difficult for him to communicate his wants and needs, but he did the best he could.

On June 30, 2017, Andres somehow got out of the facility where he lived and ended up walking onto the 118 WB Freeway.  Police responded to calls about a person walking on the freeway, and when they arrived they were not able to communicate effectively with Andres.  Andres crossed the divider and was struck and killed by oncoming traffic.

Andres was not able to voice his perspective on life, but through his family and the Autism community we can have a voice that speaks loudly for Andres on Autism awareness, police intervention and training, and facilities that take on the responsibility of ensuring that individuals with disabilities are properly cared for and supervised.

Any donation will help to ensure that Andres gets the farewell he deserves, and will support his mother, Angelica Rodriguez, father Ramiro Valadez, and his brother Francisco Valadez, get through this heartbreaking and difficult time.
