A Veteran’s Narrative - Sponsors for art therapy

This 6-month project is the first of its kind in the greater mid-Atlantic region; pairing the healing qualities of visual art and music therapy. For this project, Warrior Music Foundation has partnered with the Maryland Cultural and Conference Center (MC3); a fellow local non-profit that provides innovative and multi-cultural entertainment venues for veterans throughout Maryland. This exhibit has paired six local, professional artists with six local veterans. Each pairing was given two guitars, and over the course of six months, the artist depicts the veteran’s story on the guitars. This entire project is overseen by the foundation’s two board-certified music therapists, who offer all necessary therapeutic support. These guitars will be on exhibit at MC3’s gallery throughout September and October 2022, with an auction taking place at the close of the exhibit on October 20th.

Any donation will help fund this program. Sponsorship of $250 supports one veteran/artist team. We will include your logo/name on all printed marketing and will thank you at the final event in October.
