A Very Special Holiday Wish: The Making of Baby Ramirez
They say it takes a village to raise a child but they didn’t mention that for some, it takes a team of scientists, doctors, embryologists, surgeons, specialists, and oh yeah…a couple who is determined on bringing their little one into this world.
So here's the deal.... The IVF clinic that we’ve been using is having a promotion through the end of the year that if we pay in full by December 26th, the price will be $12,000 instead of the $19,000+ it would normally cost. And they would include almost $3,000 worth of medicines with it for free!! They are working with a bunch of people here to make this happen, including discount programs so there's a big rush to make this happen by the deadline. We know it's not easy with the holidays but we're hoping you can help us with this wish to start our family.

Our Story:
We (Kelvin & Dayanna Ramirez) have been trying to conceive a child since our honeymoon. Little did we know, we were in for a giant rollercoaster ride.

2018 marks the 5th year we’ve been trying with no success. At the start of this year, it was clear we weren’t going to get pregnant without medical help. We first tried intrauterine inseminations but after 3 attempts we were no closer to having our baby. If we wanted this to work we knew we were going to have to go through the intense and expensive process that In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) is.
$25,000 and over a hundred injections later IVF produced only one viable embryo. Our little embryo was put back in but unfortunately, it did not survive and ended in early miscarriage known as a chemical pregnancy. This has been devastating for us but through it all we’re not giving up on our dream of growing our family. We’ve decided to do IVF again but the issue this time around is money.
It was a miracle in itself we were able to get the money for the first round of IVF but it’s just not feasible for us to pay for a second without a little help from our friends.
Ok, a lot of help.

Possible Questions You May Have:
Insurance? Unfortunately, our insurance does not cover any infertility expenses. Everything we have done has been paid for out of pocket. To date, including the many surgeries, Dayanna has had to do along the way, we have paid over $50,000.
Why not adopt? Great question! We will! We want to build our family in different ways but our heart's desire is to first experience pregnancy and childbirth, then become foster parents after a couple of years and adopt older child(ren) age 7-18. The cost for adoption right now is really high and we would like to have the honor of experiencing a baby first if possible.
What we have tried: 5+ years of trying to conceive. 3 intrauterine inseminations that failed (no pregnancy), 1 IVF cycle. We just recently received the news last week that we had an early miscarriage (known as a chemical pregnancy.) We have also changed our lives around with supplements, organic supplies, etc. We have tried it all! Fertility books, videos, and so much more! We are out of options here.
