A Unforgettable Christmas by Dreams & Nightmares

The holidays are a time where friends and family gather around and enjoy good food, drinks, and laughter. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the homeless has been left in an even more vulnerable state than before. With there being fewer volunteers, more safety precautions, and less space available in homeless shelters, this holiday season will be the hardest it has ever been.
This Christmas, Dreams and Nightmares would like to give back to the community by giving the homeless a Christmas to remember.
THE PLAN?
To host a beautiful Christmas dinner and provide Covid-modified care packages to 80-100 homeless in the Toronto area.
Encourage and bring the joy of the season to those who may not have family during this time
Engage the community in lending a helping hand and giving back to the community
Raise awareness to the homeless and the conditions they face due to Covid-19
WHO ARE WE?
Dreams and Nightmares is an organization whose goal is to empower and aid the community’s children, homeless, and single mothers within the GTA. Our many events, showcases, volunteer positions, and donations have been designed to encourage a strong foundation for those most vulnerable within our community. Offering volunteer opportunities and work experience to those who do not fall under this category, to lead them on a journey to helping others in the future. Together we can all make a difference, it just takes patience and understanding

Everyone assisting in this event is screened with rigorous questions as provided by the Ministry to ensure all participants, volunteers, and staff are safe.
