A Truck for Glen Wayne

Have you ever felt like someone was dropped into your life intentionally, and you just needed to figure out why? That's how it is with me and Glen Wayne.
Several years ago, as I was working in my yard, an old ratty pick-up truck pulled up in front of my house, and a scrawny, unkempt man asked if I had any yard work that needed to be done. What led me to say yes? For that matter, what led him to pull up in front of my house, which is at the end of a dead end street? But I did, and he did, and ever since then Glen Wayne and his wife have shown up EXACTLY when I start thinking that I need some help in the yard.
They are poor as dirt, their truck barely runs, and they were wiped out by Hurricane Harvey. When I told Glen Wayne I wanted to help him out for Christmas, he declined. He said he is strong and healthy and able to work, so please let him work and leave the charity for those who have nothing.
But then he asked me if I would keep in my prayers a request for a new truck for him and his family. Those prayers led to this page. Glen Wayne and his wife Cynthia are simple, decent, honest, hard-working souls who I would very much like to help. So I am asking you to consider one more donation this season, from your heart directly to a real person who asks for nothing other than the opportunity to be useful and support his family. Will you help me buy a truck for Glen Wayne?
