<div>Hi, my name is Anna and I’m creating this GoFundMe in honor of Micheal and Kathie Simpson. I am heart broken to announce that both Mike and Kathie have passed away unexpectedly.

<div>As a child I used to spend a lot of time with my Aunt Kathie and Mike. My mom’s name is Maria Kelley, as long as I could remember her and Kathie were best friends. In my early childhood, my mom faced some serious health struggles. As a kid I thought I was just going to Aunt Kathie and Mikes or “Mike Dad” as I used to call him, to run around with the big dogs, build forts, play in mikes fish tank or play pranks on their two sons Micheal and Nicholas. Now as an adult I realize they were just apart of my parents village when they needed one. Gave my mom a moment to prioritize her health. That was always their nature. They would give the shirt off their back if you needed one. If you needed a supportive friend to help you up you’d know who to call. Kathie would come over daily caring for my mom after procedures, cleaning the house while she healed and kept us busy. They had the most pure and giving bond. I am lucky I got to see what true friendship really looks like by watching the two of them constantly show up for each other.

<div>I could go on and on about both Mike and Kathie but I know that anyone lucky enough to have them in their life knows what good people they are.

<div>My family and I wanted to raise money to help their family cover some of the costs that come with giving them the most peaceful resting place. That is what they truly deserve.
