Teaching kitchen for low income & urban farmers

Agape Grow is located in KC, MO with low income, high crime, meth & low education area.   Our desire is to change this part of KC starting with indivuals and families by teaching them how to garden, cook and put their food up for the future. We have been award a grant to build the teaching kitchen but we have to provide  the money and build it up front  then they will award us  with the funds.  We are asking for your help today to help teach families  and urban farmers how to grow, cook and preserve their food.  They will have access to pressure canners, water bathers, dehydrators, fermenting stations, freezer dryer, vacuum sealer and a commercial kitchen at an affordable price.
With so many people struggling financially this is a way for indivuals, families and urban farmers to provide healthy food that they have grown and put up for future use without preservatives, high sugar and salt and added chemicals that we can not pronounce.  It is a way for an urban farmer to up scale his business without hurting his modest earnings.  Will you come along with us to build a teaching/certified kitchen to help local families and small urban farmers provide a much need local, healthy food source for Kansas City!
