However, under the new criteria, we now won't know if we've been successful with essential grant funding until just four weeks before the festival in June 2026. This extremely short notice makes it impossible for us to responsibly organise an event of this scale, particularly when it comes to booking high-calibre performers who require commitments far in advance.
