A speedy recovery for Kayla ❤️❤️❤️

Donation protected
Emily and Kayla were in a crash on Friday night 1/6. They left to hangout with friends and crashed into an excavator parked in the middle of the right land just down the street with no safety precautions surrounding the equipment, also with heavy fog. Emily has a severe concussion and has been discharged from the hospital. Kayla is having surgery on her neck and spine this morning 1/7. Pray for a speedy recovery for Kayla and keep our family in your thoughts and prayers. ❤️❤️❤️
Update 1/7 at 11:23 pm: Our family is so extremely grateful for all the love, support, and prayers we've received in the last 24 hours. Kayla is able to breathe on her own and her surgery was successful, but she is paralyzed in her arms and legs❤️ continue to pray for our family, thank you so so so so much.
Update 1/8 at 3:27 pm: Kayla is struggling with her saliva and breathing, but her neck looks much better. The hospital bills are a huge financial responsibility for our family as she will be in the hospital for some time. It could be up to a month. Kayla may also be getting transferred to Salt Lake City for rehabilitation in the future. For now though, any donation helps and doesn't go unnoticed. Thank you for your thoughts, prayers, and donations. ❤️ 100% of Kayla's donations are going towards her medical bills.
Update 1/10 at 11:55 pm: Kayla had an amazing day today mentally and physically. She got off the ventilator at around 1 pm so she is now maintaining a stable heart rate and breathing on her own. She still has little movement in her arms and legs but can feel when we touch her at certain times. We need prayers for a full and complete recovery. She talked a little bit more today and was overwhelmed witb the donations, videos, pictures, and messages she has received from everyone. She said it couldn't be done without the support. Thank you. ❤️✝️
Update 1/15 @ 7:46 pm: Kayla will be transferred to Salt Lake City on Tuesday morning. Holly will continue to be working at the ER in Nampa and go back and fourth to Utah. The donations mean so much to us and we are all so grateful and surprised we have received all this support. Thank you again! Keep spreading the word and donating and praying!
Update 2/26 @1:04 pm: It's been about a month and a half since the accident and Kayla is still fighting everyday. She has a little movement in both of her arms. She cannot move her wrists up and down and wiggle her fingers or feel her legs. Getting her feeling back will take a lot of effort and time! Kayla is doing the best she can and taking it one day at a time. She is so grateful for all the letters and kind words, but this journey has not been easy for her. She made a post on instagram saying how she feels and an update. Emily has been back at school working hard and keeping her head up for her sister. The not so nice things people say are hard at times, but we as a family have learned that all that matters is family and Kayla.❤️ People ask "Do they really need more money?" The go fund me and donations have been an extreme blessing to say the least. Jake (kayla's dad) had cancer about a month ago and he is not out of the woods yet. The financial help that we have been blessed with is going towards kayla's van, wheelchair, hospital bills and making our house more accessible for sweet kayla. ❤️ We love you Kayla!!
