A service dog for Wyatt

This is Wyatt.  He is 9 years old and he lives with his mom and sister in Broomfield, Colorado.  At a very young age we realized that Wyatt did not view the world the same way a "typical" child does.  He felt uncomfortable in his own body and the world around him.  He couldn't go out in public without crying and feeling overwhelmed and by age 18 months we noticed that a lot of developmental milestones were not being met.   This lead us to early intervention where Wyatt was diagnosed with Sensory Processing Disorder and Expressive Language Disorder.  He persevered through multiple therapies and made good progress.  At the beginning of first grade we began to notice more struggles.  He was then diagnosed with Severe Anxiety Disorder and in second grade spent most of the year in and out of Chidlren's Hopsital battling different Gastrointestinal issues.  Now we are in fourth grade and about to under go more testing for a potential Austism Diagnosis and other factors that are hindering learning and being successful at school.  Through it all Wyatt has persevered through every challenge.  He is a sweet boy who has a love and sensitivity when it comes to animals.  His first word was dog and his first social interactions were with our yellow lab who we unfortunately lost a few years back.  Because of this doctors think that Wyatt would be a perfect fit for a therapy service dog.  A service dog could provide deep pressure for his sensory needs,  calming for anxiety and can intervene during overwhelming and self harming behaviors.  I am hoping that with the generosity of our friends and family we can raise the money to purchase, register and complete the proper training for him to have a service dog.  Thank you so much in advance for taking the time to read about such an amazing and wonderful little boy.
