A service dog for Adrienne

Dear family, friends, friends of family and anyone who has been touched by physical or mental limitations,
We are in the beginning process of adopting a service dog for our 16-year- old daughter Adrienne who has CP. http://www.cerebralpalsy.org/about-cerebral-palsy/definition The cost of a service dog is quite expensive due to the extensive training involved. The full cost can be anywhere from $7000.- $20,000 depending on the specific needs of its handler. https://www.servicedogcertifications.org/how-much-does-it-cost-to-train-a-service-dog/ Our family's hope is to not only raise money for Adrienne, but for others as well. Any money raised above what is needed for Adrienne's dog will be donated to another person that would benefit from having a service dog, more on that later.
Here is Adrienne's story:
Adrienne and her twin sister were born 3 months early weighing a whopping 2lbs. Although both girls had complications and spent about 3 months in the NICU, Adrienne's were more severe.
At around 6 months corrected age, Adrienne was diagnosed with mild Spastic Diplegic Cerebral Palsy. CP is just a broad term for many complications/disabilities (see above link). Adrienne's form of CP affects her walk and balance which she has handled without assistance thus far. She is currently a sophomore in high school and will soon be thinking about college, but the physical demands of carrying heavy books and navigating to classes take a toll on her physically and mentally. Due to the demands on her body and trying to keep up she now also suffers with major depressive disorder and anxiety. Adrienne would benefit greatly from having a service dog to assist her with daily life by preventing falls and helping with heavy school materials.
