<div>For as long as I can remember, I’ve always been the person my friends and community could count on. As the ASB president and a link crew leader in high school, I dedicated myself to helping others whenever they needed me. Now, I find myself in a position where I need that same support.

<div>A year ago, I was diagnosed with chronic kidney disease at stage 3b, and this year, it has progressed to end-stage renal disease. I need a kidney transplant to survive, and the surgery costs $40,000.
