A Safe Home to Thrive for Sarah and Zach Teal

At the end of March, I had to move back home to Vancouver, WA, from Spokane. During my time in Spokane I was an early educator. When COVID-19 became a world pandemic my teaching position ended, leaving me homeless and relying on only state benefits for food.
Without the help of Zach, my boyfriend, I wouldn’t have a safe place to live. He has encouraged me to ask for support in buying non food items to create a home together.
We are currently supported by friends with encouragement and state benefits for only food. Now we are asking more outwardly to others to help us not only survive this hardship but thrive.
While I was away from Vancouver, I had to sell my car, laptop, and smart phone. Thankfully, while I was in Spokane I had a job near a bus line and didn’t need technology as much.
Since I’ve been back though in Vancouver we realize we need more support. Zach and I understand that finances are tight on everyone right now, but we would love any support in helping us create a safe place to live and thrive.
