A Round for the Lions ( FUNDRAISER )

Usually at this time of year we would all be anticipating a visit from the infamous Lions Santa as he and his team of dedicated Lions trawl Garforth and the surrounding villages bringing joy and smiles to all the children in the area.
More importantly the hard work of this dedicated team raised literally thousands of pounds to be plowed back into local community projects that benefit many people all year round.
The current Covid Pandemic is affecting one and all and an event that would usually raise the Lions in excess of £ 10,000 has had to be cancelled.

"To protect themselves, their families and the good folks of Garforth and District, the lions have made the difficult decision not to fund raise with their Christmas Sleigh runs – one of their biggest fundraising activities of the year. It will be back bigger and better in 2021 but in the meantime lets help them raise funds to help those in need in our community this year! Donations welcome "
In light of the inability to meet friends of and family in our local pubs, clubs and bars this year in the lead into the festive season it would be greatly appreciated if you could donate what you have saved on a round of drinks with your friends and family to assist the Lions in being able to continue their amazing work in 2021.
£ 10, £ 20, £ 30 whatever you would have spent on a round of drinks can go a long way in supporting the work of our amazing Lions. A round might last 20 minutes, the work our Lions does last all year round ! Please dig deep and Seasons Greetings to you all. Heres hoping for better times ahead.
