A Luly la diagnosticaron con leucemia en septiembre de 2025 y desde entonces ha pasado más de cuatro meses sin recibir ningún tratamiento. En Venezuela no existe seguro médico que cubra enfermedades como esta, y toda la atención debe pagarse de manera privada: exámenes, medicamentos y tratamiento. Para una familia de bajos recursos, estos costos son imposibles de cubrir. La verdad es dura: sin ayuda externa, Luly no puede recibir atención médica. Durante este tiempo la enfermedad ha seguido avanzando. Luly ya presenta inflamación del hígado y del bazo, lo que indica que su estado está empeorando y que necesita atención médica urgente. Ella es una niña dulce, llena de fe y con sueños muy grandes. Ama jugar voleibol y anhela volver a hacerlo, pero para tener una oportunidad real necesita comenzar su tratamiento ahora.
