A Rescue Mission From Saigon VN

Mama came to visit her home Village in Vietnam in October. Her village was 3 hour from Saigon and she was under the care of several people. Those people called and said my mama felt ill and could not speak, open her eyes, and move her arm. I made a video call to check on her situation and suspected she had a stroke. I made serveral plea for those people to call an ambulance to take her to a hospital to no avail. I am not sure why those pepole would not call for help after several attempts on my end.
I quickly race against time and flew out to Saigon and arrived here on Jan 21st. With the help of my wife's uncle we were able to hire an Ambulance and drove 3 hour to her location and 3 hours back to Saigon to get her into emergency room. After CT scans, results show not only did she had a stroke, but her artery also burst along with not being feed for days. No signs of nutrients at all in her body.
Mama has medicare and unfortunately does not cover while she is abroad. She is currently paralyz on the left side, not able to speak, drink or swallow any food. She was able to open one eye and stil recognize who I am. She can called out my name. Our plan is to have her stabalize as much as she can and bring her back to the U.S.A for treatment. Her situation is very severe, the only good chance for any sort of treatment is back in America. We need to fly her out of Saigon as soon as the doctor give us the OK.
Your heart warming funds will be use towards her current medical costs in Saigon and her flight back to the US and any additional cost while in US.
You can also help us by raising awareness about stroke. It is no joke and people need to understand to seek medical help immediately. Stroke victim only have a window of oppoturnity for recovery within the first 2 hours.
After being here for a week, one thing I really appreicate about America is how quickly we come together to assist one another when we are in desparate need. For this, I am reaching out to everyone and do what your current situation allowed, and help me in any way tyou can so that I can get Mama back home and just hope that she can successfully recover from this.
