As this is a great personal challenge I thought it would be a good idea to raise some money for a good cause. My charity of choice is the Comitato Arghosha Faraway Schools.
Comitato Arghosha Faraway Schools is an association created in 2005 after the locality of Arghosha – north of Band e Amir lakes, where the very first school was built, now we are in the process of building a 13th school. The association’s mission is to fund educational projects in the remotest areas of Afghanistan. It is not an NGO but it raises funds for selected Afghan NGOs projects. It has no running costs as its members personally support all the expenses incurred.
The money raised will help in funding scholarship programs for the students who graduate from the schools.
