A Plea For Polly

Polly Kresmery is a mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, and friend. She is a Christian and has spent her life selflessly caring for others and raising grandchildren. She loves animals and her fur babies are an important part of her life.
Last year Polly had a stroke. It affected her motor skills, her vision, her cognitive ability, and her perception and orientation to her surroundings. Those effects have not improved much.
This November Polly had a second stroke. She has lost mobility in one of her legs and her left arm and hand.
At this time she is in a nursing center for rehabilitation. Unfortunately, due to the COVID-19, she is not allowed to have visitors and we can only communicate with her by phone. We are hopeful that rehabilitation will help her to regain some of the movement in her legs, arm, and hand, and are told there is a 50/50 chance.
We do not have the funds necessary to help provide her with some of the things she will need in her home once she is released. We are asking for your help to raise the funds for some of the necessities which she will need in order for her to have some functionality in her home. A wheelchair has been donated.
Needed:
Exterior and interior doorways need to be widened in order to fit a wheelchair through them.
A wheelchair-accessible walk-in shower, plumbing parts, and hand bars.
To pay some of her past-due medical bills.
Someone to assist her for a few hours per day and to make sure she is taking her medications properly in between family members' schedules.
She desperately needs to get a ramp completed and have a walk-in shower installed before she comes home from the nursing center. Anything that can be contributed, including prayers, would be greatly appreciated.
