Hey. My name is josh im 41 from somerset England... 
 
It was January the 4th 2022 on a cold winter morning where i found myself sleeping and living in my car after I was kicked out my current home. Up until this point my life was perfect. I was in love , I had a great social circle and life,and I had my kids to keep me sain through all this madness. Oh and I spent a good couple off years living the van life full time and basically living the dream. I was going to festivals, mountain boarding alot and generally loving my life. I was happy and life could not off felt any more perfect. Along with this life came partying a fair bit and yes I definitely partied hard.Until the point it led me to me ending up in my car homeless in winter. 6 months later the love off my life did a disappearing act.my family basically gave up on me and i lost all my friends or at least most off them. Id basically lost everything other than my kids and my job. I was at rock bottom for a very long 2 years , got myself in debt,work slowed down , and I felt helpless and had nothing or nobody. im not spilling out a cry me a river story and i know i probably didn't help to the situation that led me to a mental breakdown, depression, being heartbroken,in debt or living in my mini cooper in winter. nobody is perfect.But thankfully a friend off mine threw me a life line and gave me a place to stay. And ive been here the past couple off years. In the past year since xmas 2024 ive been t total sober, going to the gym at least 3 times a week, changed jobs to have a constant wage coming in and doing everything i possibly can to better my life. And its basically been me doing this alone all year. I lost my friends back along, my family gave up on me and other than a very selected few its been just me..with having my kids every other weekend that's kept me going. In other words its been an incredibly rough few years since that January off 2022.. 

Anyway to the point off this post ... as great as it has been since I got sober and healthier and as thankfull as I am for my friend giving me a room to rent out. They are moving on in January and that means I need to find a place ideally before then. Unfortunately I have been working every hour under the sun all year to get myself outa debt and back on track and living off nothing amd i literally mean nothing,but I've been surviving just. With still debt to pay off I have no idea how I am going to save up and get another place before xmas or for January especially with xmas only 3 months away. I literally have no savings or no spare money or nobody to turn to.I live from paycheck to paycheck and will be until im financially up to date. Id love to have enough money to either be able to get another camper or van to convert and live the full time van life again where i was at most the happiest I think i ever was or have been. Obviously if that's not possible then enough to rent or at least put a deposit down on a place or a room to rent although i feel I will then never get out off this mess im in when I have all these extra bills to pay if renting a room ect. Where as living the van life again i could easily be back on track again by next spring. Either way beggers can't be choosers right. Im not asking for a miracle or much but anything towards what I can hopefully save would be a help. I just fear ill end up back where I once was and I really really don't want to go to that place again. Ive just started to feel like myself and that my life is finally falling back into place again. Im sorry for asking i hate that im doing a go fund me or that i sound beggy. And I know im asking for alot here but if i could just get enough together between myself and anyone who can help by the end off the year where i can get myself a van and go back to living where i was and felt free and happy, where i can be in a position where i wont have rent ect to pay meaning i can save and get myself outa this pickle and where most importantly i will have a roof over my head and a place for my kids to come stay.i really don't have any other options other than this. i really cant be back homeless or with nowhere to go again. ive worked so hard to get myself mentally to the place i am right now. ive asked for £1500 here and i think that will be enough to get a van to at least start again or failing that a deposit on a room to rent at least. id literally be grateful for anything to help towards what i can save if its even possible that i can. i have until xmas or early January at the latest. i guess if you don't reach out for help then your never know right. ✌️
