Between Livorno and Pisa, along the riverbanks, we are building a dream: to transform an abandoned area into a vibrant, accessible, and welcoming park, where everyone can grow, move, breathe, and heal.

Why “A Home to Heal”?

Because we want to give a permanent home to those who have made healing and resilience their mission:

The Bimbe in Rosa, women who have undergone breast cancer surgery, finding strength and community through Dragon Boat.

Athletes with disabilities, who experience the park as a space of freedom and growth.

Youth and schools, who take part in outdoor educational and environmental activities.

Athletes of all ages, from beginners to world champions, who find in the Park a place to train, share experiences, and inspire others.

Here, every paddle stroke is a step toward healing. Every breath in nature is an act of care. Every encounter is a chance to grow.

What we want to do

We want to purchase the house and land that will become the heart of San Leonardo Park. Canoa Club Livorno already manages the area and covers current expenses, but buying the property is essential to ensure continuity, independence, and growth.
