My name is Kevin Robinson. On the behalf of the Montgomery/Clark family, we would like to thank you for reading this call for your support.
On November 21, 2018, Dreamma L. Montgomery became a survivor of gun violence. While carpooling with a couple of coworkers she became an innocent bystander of a domestic violence dispute; between one of her co-workers and the suspect. This dispute led to the coworker being murdered and Dreamma sustaining critical life threatening injuries. She underwent multiple surgeries on many different occasions. At that time, we didn't know whether or not Dreamma would make it through the night. We were told that she was brain dead and that the damage was irreversible. Although her chances for survival was slim, she pulled through with odds greater than anyone could ever imagine. Dreamma has fought the greatest fight of her life and has won thus far. Unfortunately, Dreamma suffered from a Traumatic Brain Injury. She loss the vision in her right eye and her ability to walk . She still has a long way to go, but with her perseverance and determination, we believe Dreamma is on the right road to recovery. She is a true survivor; the ultimate warrior. Overcoming every obstacle that has been placed in front of her; even the doctors were surprised to see how well she was recovering. Dreamma has broken down barriers. She is very cognitive, she has full cognitive-communication. Everyday, moving and pushing through every challenge that she has been given. Today, Dreamma is doing remarkable. Though recovery has been rough she's still able to smile through it all. She's simply a miracle and now she's ready for her next journey. In Dreamma's own words, "I'm ready to come home!"
Due to the untimely death of her Aunt Sandra Montgomery, who was quadriplegic, we received the opportunity to purchase her home that's fully handicap accessible. We are asking for your help in obtaining the down-payment towards the purchase of this home. Our goal is to have Dreamma out of the rehabilitation center and nestled into her new home by January 1, 2021.
We need your help! Your donations will allow Dreamma to transition from the rehabilitation center into a secure, safe, handicap accessible home. Where she can live comfortably as she continues her journey of healing. 100% of the
proceeds that is donated will go towards the purchase of this home, for Dreamma. In fact, even the smallest donation will make a difference and will be greatly appreciated. All contributions will be managed by an Attorney so that Dreamma will receive each and every dollar that is donated.
Thank you all for your love, compassion, and support. But most of all, we will like to thank you for standing with Dreamma.
This is for and only For Dreamma with Love!
