Well, we all know I hate to ask for help but here it goes. As much as I have loved living in New Orleans for the last few years, the Nasty Rona has hit the area pretty hard and I feel the need to return north. I have had more job leads back up in NH and MA than anything down here. While I LOVE the hotel I work(ed) at there is no need for a small boutique hotel at this time down here.
So here is the game plan. My dearest friend Liam is coming down to grab me around my birthday October 15th. We will then rent a car and drive back. Alas right now there is no possible way I can get this car for the time needed.
I have been on unemployment since March and have not gotten many extra bonus days in there. I am asking my friends to perhaps chip in a few dollars or so. Even $5 helps get some gas on the way. I absolutely understand if you can't. I KNOW I am not alone here.
Oh and if anyone knows a wealthy older man with a heart condition and no kids let me know. Anna Nicole Smith had the right idea! ;)
Should you have any questions for me or just to send words of love and encouragement feel free to message me. Know that I will always be in debt to all of you just for your happy thoughts.
I will be leaving my heart (and most of my liver) in New Orleans. I do plan to visit a LOT. I have made such wonderful friends down here and I will think of you all when I am buried in snow.
