<div>The main aim of the John Bell Institute is to create a physical site dedicated to summer schools, workshops and research in the foundations of physics. We started this fundraiser in the hope of being able to acquire a location for the Institute that we had put resources into, including building a lecture hall and breakfast and lunch facilities. But subsequent developments have made that location logistically impossible.

<div>In the mean time, fortunately, our agreement of cooperation with the University of Split means we have access to a wonderful facility—MEDLIS—in Split for hosting summer schools and workshops. Our first summer school will be help there in August 2025, and there are plans for both summer schools and workshops in the summer of 2026. Your donations can help fund these events, and especially make the summer schools affordable (in fact free) for the students who stay at MEDLIS.
