A permaculture design for Mum

Hello family and friends,
You might know that Mum (Bernadine) has a little 1 acre block of land in beautiful Bemboka. It's a beautiful spot as you can see from the picture. She's dreaming and planning to build a little house there to 'retire' to one day but it's slow going and time is ticking on.
Last summer the fires swept through and burnt out all of the 100+ trees that she'd lovingly planted. Recently she's started replanting trees and her next step is to have a permaculture design made for the block. With your help, I'd love to be able to help her to make this happen as resources are low. Mum has no idea I'm doing this so please keep it a secret for now.
I got a quote for a consultation and design from John Champagne, a highly experienced local permaculture designer and educator. $1,200 will cover a 2-3 hour on-site consultation and a design for the site which is typically 30+ hours work. If it seems like alot, his pricing is actually very reasonable as I know someone who charges more than double that for the same service. John comes highly recommended from all my permaculture friends.
