As a single mother, Alba worked tirelessly and sacrificed so much to provide love, strength, and support for her family. She was the kind of person who made everyone feel welcomed, loved, and cared for.

<div>One of Alba’s greatest joys was the anticipation of becoming a grandmother for the very first time. She was beyond excited for the arrival of her daughter’s first baby, due on June 4, 2026 — a moment she had been looking forward to with so much happiness, love, and hope.

<div>On Saturday evening, April 25, 2026, at approximately 8:45 PM, Alba was just steps from her home, near the corner of 92nd Street and 32nd Avenue in Queens, when she was tragically struck by a vehicle while returning home. She suffered critical injuries and was rushed to the hospital, where doctors did everything they could to save her.

<div>For days, her family remained by her side praying for a miracle.

<div>On Tuesday, April 28, 2026, Alba was pronounced brain dead. Her loved ones continued to stay with her until Thursday, April 30, 2026, when they were forced to say their final goodbyes.

<div>Even in her passing, Alba gave one final gift of life through organ donation — a reflection of the compassionate and giving woman she always was.

<div>This sudden tragedy has left her family emotionally devastated and facing overwhelming funeral, burial, memorial, and medical expenses that they were not prepared for.

Era de esas personas que hacían sentir bienvenido, querido y acompañado a todo el que tenía la dicha de conocerla.

<div>La noche del sábado 25 de abril de 2026, aproximadamente a las 8:45 PM, Alba se encontraba a solo unos pasos de su hogar, en la esquina de la calle 92 con la avenida 32 en Queens, cuando fue trágicamente atropellada por un vehículo mientras regresaba a casa. Sufrió heridas críticas y fue trasladada de urgencia al hospital, donde los médicos hicieron todo lo posible por salvarle la vida.

<div>Durante días, su familia permaneció a su lado aferrada a la fe y orando por un milagro.

<div>El martes 28 de abril de 2026, Alba fue declarada con muerte cerebral. Aun así, sus seres queridos continuaron acompañándola hasta el jueves 30 de abril de 2026, cuando tuvieron que darle el adiós más doloroso de sus vidas.

<div>Incluso en su partida, Alba dio un último regalo de vida a través de la donación de órganos, reflejando la mujer compasiva, generosa y noble que siempre fue.
