<div>Estamos organizando una recaudación de fondos para pagar la cirugía de mi papá, Enrique Alfaro. Quienes lo conocen saben que es una persona hermosa , alegre y llena de vida. Siempre compartiendo su alegría donde sea que vaya con un chiste, una anécdota, una imitación o un dicho. Quienes lo conocen del fútbol conocen su pasión y su entrega total a sus alumnos y compañeros. Y todos los que lo conocemos sabemos que su generosidad no tiene limite, siempre dispuesto a ayudar a quien lo necesite.

<div>Hoy, mi papá es quien necesita de nuestro apoyo. Tras más de un año con molestias recurrentes en la garganta y diversos estudios, finalmente se le diagnosticó cáncer en las cuerdas vocales en una etapa temprana. Afortunadamente, se pudo realizar una cirugía de emergencia donde se extirpó el crecimiento al 100%.

<div>Esta colecta tiene como objetivo cubrir los gastos médicos de dicha operación urgente, la cual era vital para evitar que la enfermedad avanzara. Estamos muy felices porque ya se encuentra en proceso de recuperación para retomar su salud por completo.

<div>We are organizing a fundraiser to pay for my dad, Enrique Alfaro's, surgery. Those who know him know he is a wonderful, cheerful, and vibrant person. He always shares his joy wherever he goes with a joke, an anecdote, an impersonation, or a saying. Those who know him from the soccer world know his passion and his total dedication to his students and colleagues. And all of us who know him know that his generosity is boundless; he is always willing to help anyone in need.

<div>Today, my dad is the one who needs our support. After more than a year of recurring throat discomfort and various tests, he was finally diagnosed with early-stage vocal cord cancer. Fortunately, he was able to have emergency surgery where the growth was completely removed.

<div>This fundraiser aims to cover the medical expenses of this urgent operation, which was vital to prevent the disease from progressing. We are very happy because he is already in the recovery process and will fully regain his health.
