A Nickel for NOLA
For the next five weeks (Labor Day to October 11), the Southern Center for Child Advocacy needs your help to raise $100,000 for education relief and recovery on the Gulf Coast and to continue our mission to improve educational outcomes for K-12 kids in public schools across the South and Southwest!
When five weeks are up, the SCCA Volunteer Board of Directors will review grant applications (submissions will begin during the fourth week of the campaign - the application for students and teachers will be available at our website on Monday, October 4, 2021). Depending on the amount of money we raise, SCCA will offer $1000, $2500 and $5000 grants to students, teachers and families in the areas impacted by Hurricane Ida for teaching supplies, learning materials and educational technology!
