A new wheelchair for Oscar

Our son Oscar was born with Talipes (Clubfoot) and Arthrogryposis. As a result of this he does not walk at all. Oscar is fully wheelchair dependent. 2 years ago to the day we got Oscar's first wheelchair which was amazing. It gave him the independence he craved and all his friends loved it at school.
However Oscar turned 5 on the 16th October and his first wheelchair ("Wizzybug") is for children up to the age of 5! We therefore are looking to move up to the next chair and have found one called 'TinyTrax'! We have just completed a trial with it and Oscar absolutely loved it! He is usually such a serious chap but the smile on his face went from ear to ear and it was so wonderful to see!
He does have a chair right now but there are a few things with it that are not ideal. For example it doesn't get up the ramp to our house, it wheel spins a lot when the floor is wet and it has a tendency to swerve into the road when there is a drop kerb! We are truly grateful to have it but it's definitely not ideal!
This chair would allow him to continue his independence. It allows him to be at the same height as his peers and is child friendly. Our thoughts are that if he has to have a wheelchair to get around then for now it would be amazing to have a child friendly one! And they even do them in blue, Oscars favourite colour!
We just need to raise the funds now to pay for the new chair! We as a family, but especially Oscar would just be beyond grateful for any financial help for this chair! It really would be life changing for him. As Oscar is at school now and he is 5 we would love to get this chair as soon as possible!
Any money raised over the amount that we need for the chair will be donated to another child looking for a chair!
