My name is Jimmy and I believe that everybody deserves to be happy. Simple as that. Happiness is a universal goal that we, as humans, are all trying to achieve and sometimes it can be hard. Especially when we feel like we are alone in our venture. But I am here to tell you you are not alone. There are millions of people here to support you in your journey and New View Society has your mental wellness as their top priority. The New View Society has been operating since 1973 and firmly believes that community health starts with mental health.
Key goals of New View Society:
Increase housing development for inividuals living with mental illness.
Foster links for healthy food sources for society members.
Meeting the needs of the community through research and meeting with client focused groups.
NEW VIEW JERSEY CHALLENGE 2019
What's more Canadian than hockey? CommUNITY! We've combined the two in this fun new local initiative. Bright green hockey jerseys will be circulating throughout the tri-cities to promote this fundraiser. The challenge is simple. If you get nominated by someone, that person will give you the jersey (which has the fundraiser site printed on the back). It is your goal to wear said jersey proudly in a public area and make a donation to this GoFundMe page. Participants are also encouraged to take a selfie in their jersey and upload the photo onto Facebook and/or Instagram using the hashtag #NewViewJerseyChallenge. Don't forget to tag the New View Society as well so they can upload the photos to their Facebook page.
