A New Van for Otis;


To: Franklin Knights from yesterday, today and tomorrow;


   During our class of 73’ reunion this last summer it became apparent to many of us, that there was one classmate who, over the innervening years, has come to embody the endurance and willful spirit of the Franklin Knights.  Now he has confronted  an impediment that requires the help of all who count themselves as his friend.  Otis Law has never failed to attend our re-unions even when obstacles, such as a staircase have blocked the way.   Rest assured that his classmates and friends  were always there to help carry him to the top.  
     This last year, we came back to Franklin to find that his transport van, had fallen into disrepair, and yet despite that complication, Otis managed to wheel his way on over to our re-union.    
    Knowing that over the years, each one of us has a story of how Otis touched our lives, we now ask our classmates and other Franklin Knights of years past and present, to step up and help a funding effort to secure an new wheelchair accessible van for Otis.
