A New Trailer for CPIT

The Cadets Volunteer Association is sponsoring this campaign to raise funds to purchase a new equipment trailer for CPit (The Cadets Front Ensemble) in memory of our dear friend Paul Robertson. Paul was just about the kindest, most generous gentleman that anyone ever met, and we mean a true gentleman. He took care of and cared about everyone, and he especially loved his "kids". Paul did whatever he could to help the corps get down the road, but what he loved most of all was helping the members of CPit. In honor of his dedication this trailer will be very special this is not just a replacement trailer for Cpit, it will be cool. It will have new features that will make the other Corps jealous and keep our kids safe.
Paul was going to turn 80 this year and had decided it was going to be his farewell drum corps tour. He was going to do the entire tour season from May to August one last time. Tragically, Paul was brutally murdered last spring just before tour. He was killed by a pair of crazed drug addicts on a killing spree that lured Paul in by asking for help, and of course in true form, Paul came to help. Thankfully his wife Michelle was able to escape and the killers were caught.
Paul lived his life in service to others no matter what the need. We hope to all follow his example and pay it forward to his "kids" to honor him, keep his CPit safe and help make this world a better place teaching this future generation the value of hard work, team work and the joy of music.
We would like to have the new trailer available during Spring Training so our goal is to secure the funding by the beginning of May. We very much appreciate any donation large or small to help keep Paul's memory alive for future members of the Cadets.
