We invite you to make a difference in the lives of children in rural villages of Nigeria.  Educate the Children is a not for profit charitable organization established in 2005 to bridge the gap in the education of students in rural Nigeria and provide them with a foundation for success in school and life. <img src="https://d2g8igdw686xgo.cloudfront.net/49412510_1594149117696450_r.jpeg" alt="49412510_1594149117696450_r.jpeg" width="100%" media_type="3" /> The chair of the board, Liz Akano visited the school site in Ugbele, Umuaka in Eastern Nigeria and saw the deplorable condition  of the school where students were expected to learn.  As an educator, Liz recognized the need for a new school.  Our students deserve better. <a href="http://www.tinyurl.com/yy9wmzs" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">www.tinyurl.com/yy9wmzs</a>  The organization was founded with the belief that "Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world."
