We are four Delaware poets (Linda Blaskey, Gail Braune Comorat, Wendy Elizabeth Ingersoll, and Jane C. Miller) who together are creating ൪uartet, a new poetry journal.
Our goal is to highlight the creativity of women 50 years of age and older. Our inaugural issue, for which we already have content, will launch in January 2021. ൪uartet will be published four times a year and will include poetry, book reviews and interviews.
Our Story
Linda, Gail, Wendy, and Jane are longtime poetry friends and recent collaborators (Walking the Sunken Boards, Pond Road Press, 2019). We love discovering poems that inspire us, bring meaning and comfort, and, though we very much look forward to publishing established poets, we also want to open doors for emerging poets.
Why GoFundMe?
It’s very important to us to not charge reading fees, because we want all women who desire to submit to be able to do so. We have secured partial initial funding but seek additional contributions to offset website design and development and ongoing program costs.
Your contribution will help us to reach our goal, to celebrate the creativity of women who, like us, have made poetry a central part of their lives. We look forward to sharing their dynamic poems with a wide variety of readers.
