My name is Brandon Zambalis. I am the co-owner of The Vintage Phoenix in Broken Arrow. My wife and I decided that it was time to act. We are here to save and salvage a local NON-Profit from a horrible event that took place just last night. Here is the news article posted just this morning:
***"BROKEN ARROW, Oklahoma -A New Leaf says its retail garden center in Broken Arrow was vandalized sometime late Thursday or early Friday.
A New Leaf says the vandals caused $25,000 in damage.
The garden center is located at 2405 South Elm Place.
In a news release, A New Leaf says members of the group are "deeply saddened and in shock over the extreme vandalism that awaited them as they opened the retail garden center" Friday morning.
“As a non-profit we depend on the sales from our social enterprise, garden center, to support the programs we have to serve adults with disabilities. This kind of violence and destruction is unacceptable,” said Mary Ogle, A New Leaf CEO.
The release said the garden center is a place where adults with developmental disabilities and autism work every day to increase their independence.
Ogle says the loss will have a tremendous effect on A New Leaf. She says all money given to A New Leaf goes right back into the people the group serves.
Just this past Valentine's Day, the workers traveled to more than 70 locations around Green Country to hand-deliver roses they'd put together."*** - Newson6.com
