A New Hope- Hang in there with me

I wanted to give you the latest update. I"m currently in a rehab facility following a seven and a half hour surgery three weeks ago. The infected prosthesis was removed, an infected part of the leg bone was removed and patched back together leaving my leg an inch and a half shorter. My left foot was broken in order to straighten it out, and an infected part of my thigh had to be shaved off. The surgery was followed by a 3 day period where I went through hallucinations convinced that I'd been kidnapped by a North Korean group that had taken over the hospital. You can't imagine how real that all seemed.  It's kind of funny in a weird way but mostly scary. I'm blessed to be working with the foremost knee- and joint specialist in the world, and I'm told that there is no other doctor that would've attempted this difficult surgery.

Quite miraculously the ozone treatments I was getting (thanks to your generous contributions) put my body in a healthy state that along with my incredible surgeon got me through this nearly-impossible ordeal.

I'm anything but out of the woods as I'm going through a 6-8 week period of mass intravenous treatments in an attempt to obliterate the last two infections still lingering in the leg. I'm told two is a very low number, the usual ranges 4-6, but once again the physical condition of my body largely because of the ozone treatments kept the infection count low. At the end of the 6-8 week period they will stop the antibiotics treatment and test for two weeks without the intravenous antibiotics.

If things go well and no infection shows, they will put the prosthetic back, remove the spacers and I will continue rehab hopefully walking again and with prayers being answered all infection being gone.

At this point I hope to be resuming the ozone treatments ( still very expansive), as I pray for a good and final result.

So I need your help, again - for ambulance trips, new treatments, and a continuation of this battle/nightmare.

But things are looking good.

Please help if you can. I'd been (we've been) fighting an awfully long time ( I just wanted to catch you up with things).
There is of course still a possibility I could lose the leg, but my chances are much greater at success than anyone ever imagined.
Keep your prayers coming.

And if there is any picture you would like me to send you or anything you can think of how I can repay your generosity please don't hesitate.

So here is an oxymoron for you, try this one on.
(1) Currently in the hospital fighting a tiny bout with pneumonia and a            slight infection flareup.
(2) The ozone treatments are working.
Unfortunately, healing includes toxins spilling out of the body and even though practically all of my blood and infection readings are much better, I wound up here. I"m told that this happens. Well, it's surprised the shit out of me. I seem to be a living example of "losing the battle but overall still winning war".

So here is the new plan - or at least a revision of the old plan's ending. It is likely that in 6-8 weeks I will have a final knee-replacement. The difference is that this time my surgery recovery will be strengthened with blood infusion ozone treatments. It's like fighting back with all the positives I had before only adding LeBron James to the team. Odds just got way bigger in favor of this being the last surgery.

Also I lost over 30 lbs (gonna shoot for another 30 before surgery)and I've changed my diet to plant-based and eliminated all sugar, salt, dairy - my food is now adding positive nutrients instead of stripping my body of any positive nutrients that may have trickled in when I wasn't looking. Simple: Healthy food add nutrients, unhealthy foods (cheeseburgers. pizza, ice cream, rice crispy treats, etc...) don't give you much of a chance.

It's now become one fucking great team.

I only need your help to raise enough for ozone intravenous treatments post-surgery - the LeBron part of the equation.

I"m fighting with all I've got - there just aren't that many chances I have left.

Please help if you can.
God Bless.
