A New Home: I Like My Coffey Strong

31 years ago, Lonny and Teresa Beaudoin purchased their first home as a young married couple. This home was in Coffey Park, and is no longer standing.
This home is where they raised their children, watched them grow, get married, and three days before the Tubbs Fire that ravished this home and countless others, they welcomed their first grandchild into this world.
They didn't just lose their house and all of their belongings, they lost the place they called home and made wonderful memories in. They will never get back precious photos of their younger years and all of the photos of their own children over the years.
As many of you may know, this wasn't a typical fire. Many are calling it a fire storm. And that's what it was. The fastest moving and most destructive fire in California history.
They were awoken at just around 2am by a neighbor, Jovi, who told them of the impending fire coming their way. They had but little time to gather what they could and flee into the night; but before getting their own belongings, they ran to their other neighbors and alerted them of the immense danger on the horizon. To them, family isn't just blood, it's the good hearted people in their lives and helping them get out of harms way, which meant leaving so much behind.
We, the children of Lonny and Teresa, humbly ask for help from our family, friends and community, to aid in rebuilding their house, so they can make it a home once more.
