A New Heart for a Great Heart

Mr.  Valois has been a teacher at Strom Thurmond High School since 1999.  Throughout these years he has taught many students and touched their hearts with his positive spirit and love for his job.  This year Mr. Valois has gone through a hard time with his health causing him to be in and out of the hospital and unfortunately has also led him to retire early.  Recently, he has been having more heart problems and is currently waiting to be put on the list for a heart transplant.  As medical bills are very high and Mr. Valois is out of work,  a group of students as well as myself have decided that although money isn't everything in this world, it would take a huge burden off of Mr. Valois and his family if we could raise money to help him financially.  The students of STHS have always enjoyed his "Veggie Tales" songs, magic tricks, sense of humor, and smile.  We miss him a lot and hope that we can help him out.
