Can you please help? Saturday, October 5th was a day that both Brittany & Alex had dreamt of for years. A day that every little girl plans in her head her entire childhood....her wedding day. Brittany was no different. She planned every detail, down to the smallest sparkles to be on certain tables....she was so ready to marry her best friend and soul mate Alex. A beautiful ceremony, which then led into a beautiful reception. The photo booth, the dj....it was all so perfect.....until......
The following day, when Brittany & Alex began to open the beautiful gifts that their wonderful friends and family had given to them. It was at this time that their nightmare began.
They discovered that each card they were opening was empty. At first they didn't realize why, but it didn't take to long to discover that someone had stolen almost all of the cash that was in all of the cards that were given to them.
They were both immediately heartbroken. Not for what they lost, but rather because of all of the wonderful people that had worked so hard for the money that they put in all of those cards to gift to them.
As the brides mother, I felt helpless. There was nothing I could say or do to take this pain away. However, I am determined to prove that there are way more good people in the UP than bad. That the disgusting person who did this terrible thing will not be able to cause anymore hurt or pain.
The money that was stolen was to pay for this wonderful couple's honeymoon to Alabama. The groom's grandparents live there and weren't able to come to the ceremony due to health reasons.
Please help get this beautiful couple to Alabama. Please help prove that there is much more good than bad, and that what began as a nightmare will end happily ever after.
