Every day, children arrive at Kilembe Hospital sick with malaria, pneumonia, or severe dehydration. They receive good medical care — but the place where they stay is failing them.

The children’s ward is dark, damp, overcrowded, and simply not a place where a child can heal.

Families are taught to create safe, clean spaces at home, yet when they reach the hospital, they find the opposite. A hospital should inspire trust — it should show what good care looks like.

We’ve repaired, painted, and patched, but nothing can fix a building that is no longer fit for children. The only real solution is a new children’s ward.

And we are close. Building it costs €30,000. Thanks to many generous supporters, we’ve already raised €20,000 — only €10,000 more is needed.
