A New Blues Record By The Drifter Kings

Hi! We are The Drifter Kings, an award-winning touring contemporary Blues/Roots band from Central Ohio. We perform original and creatively arranged blues classics in a wide range of styles from Piedmont to Delta to Chicago. Our current EP, "Daddy Long Leggin'", has been featured on blues radio stations across the U.S.A., as well as having the #1 and #2 songs on the radio station, Valley FM 89.5, in Canberra, Australia. During the pandemic, we were rehearsing and writing new material which became our new CD, called "Devil In My Kitchen". It's a 10-song recording of all original material that the band plans to release on MoMojo Records ......and now we could use your help.
Many things need to be done after the initial recording of the tracks is finished and mixed and mastered. We need to hire a graphic artist for the cover of the CD, and to manufacture copies. We also need to hire a publicist. This is a great opportunity for the band. By releasing the CD on MoMojo Records we can reach a much larger audience, get more airplay, and get better-paying and higher-profile gigs. However, there are costs involved with signing with MoMojo. We feel this is some of our best material, and we can't wait to share it with all of you. With your help, we can get this done! We appreciate your support!!

We were able to save the costs of recording and mixing the tracks by using Kaylor Hill Recording Studio in Delaware, Ohio, owned by our bass player Tony Harp.
Your donations will cover the following costs of making, promoting and distributing our CD.
Manufacturing (making the actual CDs) - $800
Graphic Artist-$500
PR by Daly Communications- $6,000
Merchandise - $200
Total = $7,500
If we exceed our financing goal, the extra funds will be put toward more merchandise and tour support.
For every donation of $20.00 or more receives a copy of the new CD.
For every donation of $50.00 or more receives a copy of the new CD, plus a T-shirt.
